The Director of Markmyplay recognises the need to adopt high environmental standards in all areas of operation and is committed to working in a sustainable manner that prevents or reduces pollution and ensures the protection of the environment, employees, contractors, customers, and the wider community.

To achieve this, Markmyplay will:

  1. Maintain and review systems relating to environmental aspects of the business to ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  2. Encourage employee involvement in environmental matters through open communication, training, and reporting of environmental performance.
  3. Set and review environmental objectives on a regular basis to ensure continual improvement. These objectives and targets will be assessed during regular management reviews.
  4. Deliver services responsibly, considering environmental impacts and taking steps to minimise all forms of pollution.
  5. Source materials responsibly, giving preference to certified, well-managed suppliers and the use of recycled products wherever possible.
  6. Provide training for employees whose activities may affect the environment, ensuring they understand emergency procedures and the safe handling, use, and maintenance of materials, plant, and equipment.
  7. Reduce waste by careful selection of raw materials, process control, recycling, and reclaiming materials wherever possible.
  8. Promote environmental awareness among suppliers and customers to encourage responsible practices across the supply chain.
  9. Optimise energy use, regularly reviewing systems to ensure energy efficiency.
  10. Review new technologies and materials to assess their environmental impact before adoption.
